New band with the lead singer from the Distillers, dude from Queens of the Stone Age and fucking Jack Irons on drums! Check it out, I'm really impressed so far...

I love their record but my mate saw 'em live and said it was terrible! I still wanna see them 'cos I think the record is quite solid!

I caught Brody's gig after a Foo Fighters/Queens of The Stone Age free show last year. I like the new band and loved 'The Distillers'. Brody is pretty much a bad-ass... and I'm completely in love with her.

From the Jack Irons perspective, i was disappointed. The album is good, but the drumming is very unspectacular on most of the album. It just doesnt sound like Jack Irons. Ah well, still a good album.

Joey Castillo drummed for them at the european festivals apparently, that would have been a nice treat to catch.

Which is the only reason why I'm glad that they really started their tour overseas...work out the kinks before hitting the stages in the states.

Jack iron's drumming was never spectacular (attack away, that's just my opinion). I do like this record, didn't even know he was drumming on it.

Hehe, no attack coming dont worry. :D
I'd agree with you that he's not spectacular, his style is usually disticntive enough that you could tell its him, or so that the drums stand out in some way on his records. (Uplift Mofo, his solo album, No Code, Yield, any Eleven album). Basically, he normally adds some sort of his flavour to an album, instead of straight drumming. Not here though. Ah well.

    Still a good album nonetheless.
