VERSE: AS INTRO Bm - D
Understand She's a Force of Nature Contraband hiding deep inside her soul
Exercising her will to lose control ---> A
she lets go ---> G
Common Man he don't stand a chance no
one to love who allowed his in the hole
no way to save someone who wont take the role
and just let's go
CHORUS: D - A - Bm - G
D - A - G (2nd GUITAR WITH A PROGRESSION OF NOTES)
One Man Stands the edge of the ocean
a beacon on dry land
eyes above the horizon
in the dark before the dawn
Bm - D X 4
VERSE: X 1
Hurricane has the trade winds blowing
gale force shaking windows in the storm
shipwreck from a love that he calls home
one light on
CHORUS: X 2
Somewhere there's a siren singing
somberly he hears
all the strengths you might think would
disappear resolving
One man stands alone awaiting for her to come home
Eyes above the horizon
in the dark before the
darkness leaves the dawn
BRIDGE: A - Bm X 3
Makes me ache
Makes me shake
G ----> Fm# (safe)
Is it so wrong to think that
Love can keep us safe?
VERSE: X 1
Last I saw he was out there waiting
a silhouette in the black light full moon
in the sand there he stands upon the shore
nevermore
CHORUS AND OUTRO/SOLO: X 4 THE SONG ENDS ON Bm.
somewhere there's a siren singing
somberly he hears
all the strength
that you might think would disappear, resolving
one man stands alone awaiting for her to come home
eyes are closed, you cannot know
but his heart don't seem to know...
grow...
home....

Do you mind doing one for Amongst the Waves? I think I'm close but you're stuff has helped me so far. Thanks.
the chorus sounds lihe A(5TH FRET) - E(7TH FRET) - B(7TH FRET) X 2 THEN D - A - E.
No success... so far
I did notice that in the Seattle video.

Mike doesn't though so I assume he is just playing along with the open chords?

The only thing I changed a bit from the OP's tab, which seemed for the most part dead on, was a bit of a change with the final G chord at the end of the chorus, I think this G chord progression is also used at the bridge. Basically, I played the G chord and felt there was a note progression of G, A, B, D. I just did it using the G chord, but I think it's deeper than that. Maybe one of you can figure it out. I don't think my version is quite right, but we are getting closer.

saw mike from the front barrier play this and the main riff (ie intro) is not Bm on the second fret, he plays both power chords further up the fretboard closer to the 12th or so fret somewhere
i am away from home so haven't had time to figure it out but will check it out in the next week and report back

It's the same chord progression though. Doesn't matter where you decide to play it. They also play it a half step down live. So it's Bb minor(really just power chord).
i've been digging this song so much lately. much more than when i first heard it. quite possibly my favorite tune on the album these days.
