Backspacer - 10C version - no bonus

The album is great and for that I am thankful, but is anybody else a little pissed that the fanclub members who pre-order the cd directly from the artist get no bonus material while the more casual fan shopping at target gets 2 free shows? wtf?

    I thought the same thing until I reread it
    The Target version of the CD and the iTunes version contain 2 free concert downloads chosen from a list of 11 PJ shows. Stay tuned for details on free concert downloads from the vault through the Ten Club version of the CD.

    I'm sure we'll be taken care of in time :D

    It will. See above. We are getting free downloads to VAULT shows, instead of easily available shows from the past 4 years.

    I put my 10c version of Backspacer in the TV/DVD player. It list 12 tracks with #12 being 40:15 long, but when I go to play it all I get is a wierd noise. Wonder what that could be?

    "Thank you for your email. The Ten Club version does not come with the bonus

    I'll take having the album arrive five days early over a couple more bootlegs to throw on the heap any day. Just me, though.

    So the Ten Club just sent us all an email yesterday saying to stay tuned for free download info for the fan club version of the album, but then they just emailed you and said no bonus downloads? Am I only the one who finds that confusing? :?:

    don't forget the glow-in-the dark/hardbound...was that our bonus?! :lol:
    but seriously I'm with you op... I was hoping we'd get a sticker, or a lil something not advertised. especially since we paid $14, and it claimed "free shipping", but meanwhile we could have gotten it at Target for $12 with concert downloads.

    Again, not trying to discredit the OP in any way, but the Ten CLub email from yesterday says:

    Stay tuned for details on free concert downloads from the vault through the Ten Club version of the CD.

    So...doesn't that lead us to believe we're in store for some FREE vault action? I'm assuming yes.

    Have you tried playing it through a computer with a DVD drive? I can access the DVD bonus content with no problems through my laptop.

    I love the 10C and the band but the "online" bonus content is way way overrated and bordering on lame. Its essentially a link to this website.

    How can you download shows for free? I want 9/24/06 Show at Merriwether I have half but how can I download it?
