Key Arena parking

Hey Folks,

Due to my wife's work schedule I won't be arriving at the show until around the time that doors open. Been to the Key Arena many times but have always walked there (typically I prefer to take the train to Seattle from the Rose City). In terms of convenience does anybody have an opinion when it comes to parking? I'm sure theres official parking for the venue but those kinds of lots can often be a hassle after a show. I know I could just google this stuff but I was wondering if I could benefit from some of y'alls past experience.

  • I'd try the side streets west of the key. You might get lucky and find free parking..there are also several pay lots in that area.

Yeah it's not terrible finding parking around the arena, but not great either. I usually go up into Queen Anne a few blocks and usually get lucky, just sucks having to walk up a couple steep hills after the show.

  • Thanks for the tip homies. I would rather spend some time after a show walking to a parking space somewhere then waiting in an enormous line of cars by the arena. Will try west of the Key and see how that works.

    Thanks again,
