by making the album cover your profile pic on facebook. I'm trying to sell the shit out of it to my facebook 'friends' who are non Pearl jam fans. who is with me?

    Yep... your on your own. People already think I'm a loon for how PJ obsessed I am. I try to keep is at least somewhat closet. Not making my face a Backspace.

    points well taken but this is such a great album i want everyone to be aware of it and hopefully i can convert someone to a fan. i've done it once before so I guess i can be happy touching someone's life with the gift of pearl jam

    Wow, what's with all the negativity? I think it's a great idea, and it's cool you're doing whatever you can to help the band. If the everyday person sees that pic on a regular basis, then they walk into Target I'm sure something will click and they might take a moment to at least check it out, if not buy it. It's called planting seeds and it's a great start

    I'm with you. I made the cover my profile pic as soon as it was released.

    And my status, for the next few days at least, tells my FB friends to go to Target on the 20th and buy Backspacer.
