My dream opener for Halloween

I just found this band and they would kill opening for Pearl Jam, high energy sound, get the crowd going for the night. The band is The Entrance Band and hey they got a political song entitled M.L.K. And who can go wrong with a hot bassist to boot. Peace.
I know that I was born and I know that I'll die. The in between is mine.

I hope Oceans is the opener, that would be awesome to hear after Bad Religion is done playing!

The bassist is Paz Lenchantin. You may remember her from such bands as A Perfect Circle and Zwan.

They are an awesome band. But as openers for PJ? I think the psych-blues thing they got going on would not go over well in a half full arena of people who want to rock out.

Just saw them last Saturday and had my mind altered. Amazing. Hopefully they'll be headlinging their own club shows sooner than later.

If you are saying "no wash" then I agree 100%. If you are saying you want to hear these two songs, I will ask where you were when the played BOTH in one show at Wachovia in 2005? Philly doesn't need to hear them again! Philly wants Oceans, it's been 17 years!

I concur, Philly NEEDS Oceans on 10/30 or 10/31 (preferably 10/30 for my own selfish reasons ;) ). But please no Wash. LOVE the song but I've already heard it open 2 of the 6 shows we've been to. Eh, who am I kidding I'll love whatever they open with...but Oceans would be better
    2006: Boston I, Camden II
    2007: Chicago
2008: Hartford, Mansfield I & II, EV Boston
    2009: Philly III & IV
    2010: Boston
    2011: PJ20
    2012: Philly
    2013: Worcester I & II, Brooklyn I & II

I'd love to hear it any night in Philly! But with each passing night, the tension of not hearing it will grow. I would enjoy every show that much more if they just play it on 10/27! I could just enjoy "release" the next night instead of being pissed I still haven't heard oceans. From a bootleg standpoint, 10/31 is going to be a classic, and it would be cool to have Oceans open that show! Wash is so overplayed in the Philly area, I've heard it like 5 of the last 8 times they have played it! I will enjoy any song they play, just more so with Oceans!

    i say DEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!

...ok maybe not as an opener but i really hope i hear that song at at least one of the 4 philly shows
In July 2007 Densmore said that he would not rejoin The Doors unless it was fronted by Eddie Vedder. Densmore says, "I play with Jim. If there's someone of that level, OK. I'm not gonna join them with Ian. That's not to diss Ian, he's a good singer - but he's no Jim Morrison. Eddie Vedder? My God, there's a singer."

Deep has been played nearly 3 times as often as Oceans! And it was played just up the road in Hershey 2003! that was the last time it was played. I think this one will stay in the vault for a while.
