I love No More. What I love most is that Eddie stands up for what he believes in and doesn't really care who he offends in doing so
Its not the words that offend me, its the poor music behind them with this particular song.
Play Bushleaguer if you want to protest Bush - its a good song musically and I would have much rather heard that every single show and not No More. Luckily its almost retired, unfortunately it was the biggest surprise for Chicago II and not of the good kind!
i LOVE the song...but he over played it WAY too much...but then again, ed does that...he get's into these fads of songs that he likes to play a little too much. thank god they are short lived though...but as a song i LOVED No More, sucks it isn't that relevant anymore...then again we are now in Afghanistan ...
am i the only one who thinks Ed's an asshole for not playing it since Obama has taken office? I mean the war is still on...and escalating!.....troops are still dying!...the song is just as relevant now as it was when Bush was in office!!...wtf Ed?!!
NO MORE PRESIDENTS LYING...NO MORE SOLDIERS DYING!!!
(Chicago doesn't count...it was requested by dudes brother)
The live version from Nijmegen 07 is still the best one ive heard to date. (well, maybe some of the Ed solo shows can top it, but ive only heard a few).
Also, there's an "alternative" slower recording with lower vocals and some backing intstruments, anyone have it? Send a possible PM way?

I do not like it live.
Though I agree with a lot of PJ/Eddies political views, this song just seemed to epitomize what I dislike about bringing their politics to the stage.
sorry to rain on your parade.
I can even say that I would take Gone over No More any day. And that's saying a lot.
So why be satisfied?

Yet you offend somebody on the pearl jam site and you you get your thread locked or kicked out? LOL
I like it. I like the message of the song and I like the voice of that guy who sings it.
There are no kings inside the gates of eden
