What ever happened to the rumor pit?

I guess it's possible that the answer to this question is common knowledge, but I never really got the scoop on it. What ever happened to the rumor pit? I used to love that thing and eagerly anticipated each new installment. Seems like a few years ago it just died out with little fanfare...

    From what I remember...It sort of went away once pearl jam left sony..But, I could be wrong on this?..Sure would be nice to see the return of the Rumor Pit..But, don't see it happening..

    we are what happened to the rumor pit. the message board made the rumor pit obsolete.

    Disagree! The rumor pit used to introduce new, exciting news all the time. Stuff that no fansite (even 5H) had the scoop on. And there was the question and answer section. And the gearhead section. Man... the more I talk about it the more I'm feeling nostalgic. I think I'll go back and read some old ones... if they are still online... WHOA, they aren't online... of course, because Synergy is gone.

    So sad.

    Well, I do hope that's true! It's been a few years since I've posted in this forum regularly, so I guess I never saw that element in action. People have the power!
