  • Download the freeware application 'FLAC Frontend.' You can use this to convert FLAC into other file types that are supported by Windows Media Player.

don't convert to MP3, you lose the quality you got when you purchased the FLAC's. Convert to wav>burn to disc

This will convert them to .wav files as well.

  • whatever you do, don't convert the FLAC files to mp3... that would defeat the purpose of having FLAC ffs.... wav files burn to cd fine without converting them.

Download Burrrn and burn the flacs directly to CD. Then rip to mp3 or listen to in your stereo.

  • Flac Frontend (google it) converts FLAC to .WAV and then use something like Nero to burn the CD. That method is 100% lossless and the CD will be like one bought in the store.
Up here so high I start to shake, Up here so high the sky I scrape, I've no fear but for falling down, So look out below I am falling now, Falling down,...not staying down, Could’ve held me up, rather tear me down, Drown in the river

Nero comes with a FLAC plug-in now. No need to convert.

Great! I like Nero because you can skip the gaps easily and make a live CD sound seamless with little effort.

Why would you convert to WAV and then MP3 to burn? That doesn't make any sense. It's like converting a CD to cassette and then back to CD again. Besides, you don't even have to convert if you have Nero.

I meant to put them in Itunes or something- Ipods don't support FLAC which is where I listen to most of my bootlegs.

  • Do not convert Flac to Wav to MP3. That just destroys the quality!

If you are going to make CDs, convert Flac to .Wav and then burn the .Wav files directly to CD.

There are plenty of free Flac to Wav converters.

    Go to www.download.com

That's not what you said. You said "convert to MP3 to burn them". Converting them for iTunes is different.
