should help.
Target, which is the exclusive retailer of Backspacer, will be offering quite a few ways to get your hands on the album. First there is the stand alone album, which you can buy on CD. Then there is the special edition CD set at that is being sold at select Target stores nationwide. This set includes the Backspacer disc and a code that enables owners of the special edition to download the entire album for the video games Rock Band or Rock Band 2.
Target is also offering an exclusive Backspacer t-shirt that will feature album artwork from Tom Tomorrow (the guy who did Backspacer's album art). The shirt is a limited edition deal and all proceeds from sales of the shirt will go to Feeding America, a domestic hunger-relief charity.
I'm willing to bet if you call your local Target someone will be able to tell you.
I only know of one near my house so I'm hoping that it's that one. If not I have till 6 o'clock to find another. Lincoln street here I come!
Thank you!
One quick question, will all versions of the cd, including the ten club preorder have access to the 2 bootlegs?
thanks again!

My thought is that is a tradeoff they made to get Target to allow them to sell the record through their website and through the independent music stores. A little pot sweetener for Target to give them some exclusivity not available through other channels.
just curious, b/c in this and other threads right now we're all questioning this--where did you hear this?
