just lost my 17 year old dog today and just got backspacer first song i went to was Just Breath i will never forgot this day.

    Another die hard fan who posts here lost his dog yesterday. It's one of the toughest things to deal with.

    thanks guys really helps you had a sec to think of him, its unbelieveable getten backspacer feeling the excitment then feeling the complete oppisite a few hours later seeing him die

    I'm really really sorry to hear this. My family has lost three dogs this year. It sucks every single time. I'm glad you have the new record to absorb right now. :)

    I know how do you feel .Ilost my dog ,she was 15 .Still makes my eyes wet when I think of her and it was years ago :cry:
    No matter how cold the winter ,there´s a springtime ahead...

    Obviously Chico was very loved. There is no better life for a dog than to be loved by a good owner for 17 years.

    Losing a dog is a really hard thing. Sorry

    Lost my dog of 13 years 4 weeks ago this sunday.

    very sorry about your doggie

    I've actually been comforting a co-worker today who is putting her Vinnie down tonight. She's devastated, but it has to be done.

    animals are the shit, my cat will be 14 next week and I've had her since she was 8 weeks old. I couldn't bear the thought of losing her

    Very very sorry for your loss. Not sure what I'd do if I lost my pup, she's like a daughter to me. But music is one of the best ways to help deal with a loss like that, so keep it up! RIP Chico.

    man sorry to hear. I started getting choked up just thinking of that day for my dog. She is my first and after waiting 25 years to get one i know i will devastated when that day comes. So sorry to hear and man JUST BREATHE as the first song you listen too. you must have been a mess i know i would be. Just glad you didnt play The End. Im getting choked up now listening to it with this in mind.

    I know some may think this is cheesy but I lost a puppy(7months old) earlier this year and someone gave this poem to me and although it made me upset to read it first, it gave me hope. So I pass this on to you

    Just this side of heaven is a place called The Rainbow Bridge

    When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to the Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

    All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

    You had the gift of time with your dog. You both are better to have had eachother, and now chico will be with you always. Chico is in your heart and that is where nothing can be taken from you. Soon the tears will turn to laughter as old times are remembered, that is the best time because then you know Chico made a difference in your life as you did with him. In heaven if we get to enjoy the good things we had and did down here then Chico will be ready to go along.
