Is this record a fall sounding record? I will obviously be listening to it, in the fall/winter, but does it have a autumn feeling at all?

I cant really tell

When In Rainbows came out I remember and still feel it felt like the perfect fall/winter album, all the songs fit that whole time period perfectly.

I agree about In Rainbows...the perfect winter record, you can just lose yourself in it...but anyway, I'd say the slower songs on Backspacer are suited for the fall - "Just Breathe," "Unthought Known," "Speed of Sound," and "The End" in particular.

honestly i think its a summer record, but its good enough for the release date not to matter

I know exactly what you're talking about, that unknown feeling that allows one to associate a song/songs to a season/seasons. I think this does have that Fall feeling to it as a matter of fact.

I think the rockers on the album have a spring feeling to them for some reason...probably because of the optimism of the record.
