ok all you mac savvy fans out there. i recently made my own bootleg of a show and i am trying to get it onto my ipod. i bought a fairly inexpensive digital voice recorder and it said it was good for both mac or pc. so far so good. i recorded the show and and hooked it up to my mac and it played. great. but then i noticed it is in a wma file. no big deal because i have a free version of flip for mac installed. i listen on quicktime and its great. but i need to figure out how to make it into mp3 or aac or something that will go into itunes. also if anyone can help a little further, i would like to break it down into tracks. please help if you can, even an idea will help.

just download an audio converter that will convert wma to mp3, google search for one and then add in mac at the end of it :)

Burn it on a cd and then import it into iTunes. Then you have AAC
"All I Ever Knew" available now in print and digital formats at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and iBooks.

The free version of Alto mp3 gold is great for converting to and from nearly every format and from one bit rate to another. It's simple and convenient...but you will have to enter all the track info after the file is converted. As far as breaking up the tracks, I usually use the free Wavepad download. It's fairly simple and self explanatory too...and it keeps track info. So if you are breaking up a file, all you have to enter is the song title...given that all the other info is on your original file.
