I don't know this was posted already but flipping through the channels and saw "Johnny Guitar". I turned it on ands its a 1954 western starring Joan Crawford....Weird.

It's not a bad old Western, and it's got the great Sterling Hayden as Johnny Guitar.
But I think I read somewhere the song is related to Johnny Guitar Watson, the blues/R&B player known for, among other things, feedback and distortion and his "space guitar" sound (back in the 1950s). Allegedly he was also sometimes a pimp, which might have something to do with the character Tom Tomorrow drew on the Backspacer cover.
