Yes here's some early Megadeth and I hope Dave Mustaine recovers from that bad back soon.

  • My Darkest Hour is one of my all-time fav songs. I love that whole album....but that song is unreal.
I'll have to give the new one a listen....Megadeth kinda fell off the radar for me, but I'm still intrigued.

This new album and the last one (United Abominations) are both excellent. They kind of fell off from 1999's "Risk" through 2005's "The Sytem Has Failed," but Dave has somehow gotten it back.

Who is in Megadeth now? They have had more turnover than just about any band going.

I really liked Countdown to Extinction, but lost track of them after Risk, which I bought and kind of enjoyed at the time.

Right now, it's Dave Mustaine, Chris Broderick, Shawn Drover, James LoMenzo! I got into Megadeth with Rust in Peace. The album blew my mind back in Junior High! :)

They are coming here to Halifax with Slayer this November. I can't wait!

I heard that. As I type this, a tour is brewing with the "Big Four" of thrash - Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, & Anthrax. If that happens I gotta see that shit.

Back to Megadeth, I listened to "The System Has Failed" while mowing the lawn today (haha) and it's better than I remembered it being. I really, really liked it.

In my opinion, the "Peace Sells?" album is the best. It's just an incredible MetaL masterpiece.
