For instance there is the cliche or phrase

I'm a lover not a fighter.

I just told someone

I'm a knitter not a fighter.

What cliche/phrase that you like could you change to fit you?

Not sure if it's a cliche' but I would change:

When in doubt, throw it out to When in doubt, keep it..lol..every time i throw something away I need it later on.
