Ben Harper and R7... Who's going tomorrow in Oakland?

I'll be there with my chicken on a fancy date. You might remember me from the R7 show at the Fillmore... I was the guy who fainted in the middle of the crowd in the middle of Ben wailing away. Embarrassing I guess... but pretty rock and roll. Gotta faint at at least one show in your life and I think Ben at the Fillmore works just fine for that bucket list event. Think I was just tired of standing strait up for a long time... Who knows.

So... who's gonna be there with me trying not to faint?

    100%... that's what I did after I fainted and I was fine. It was the first time I've fainted in my life though... I sorta liked it. Had ZERO control of my body. My buddy had to scoop me up and yank me out of the crowd. I was helpless. Definately I had a lack of water and 1 too many puffs on the green goodie stick.

    Yeah, it almost happened to me at a My Morning Jacket show, same thing, a huge J came through the crowd I thought it was laced at the time but looking back probably just dehydration. I was fine once I got some water.

    Oh to make this Pearl Jam related.... I keep forgetting I am getting to see Ben at these PJ shows. Its a twofer for sure. How has Ben been playing his new stuff live? Well?

    Its been awesome. I've seen R7 live twice now and I've really enjoyed it both times. The only Ben I really wanna see is the hard charging kickin ass and spittin fire Ben... Take another lonely day and put it in your butt. There's a lot of BH that I find pretty boring. But R7 is cool with me.

    It really is dope that R7 is opening for PJ. I honestly couldn't be happier. Its a great value for the ticket price.

    i saw them at webster hall and they were sickly tight. and that was like the day the record came out. i can't even imagine them being better, but opening gigs in arenas are much different animals than headlining shoebox clubs...so we shall see. i just hope we get under pressure in seattle. :D
