    hmmm...i thought they would be selling vinyl based on ed's comments about hoping to be one of the bands that sells vinyl at target :?

    Seems like Target won't have it. That doesn't surprise me at all. It's not the type of place to carry records...

    The article is wrong. I emailed 10c months ago and they said all formats vinyl/ cd will be in store. Unless things have changed since then

    First post, a Manager of a Target says they will be stocking the vinyl as well.

    Unless of course as you said, something changed recently.

    I just called my local Target and their response was...

    "As of right now...we have only had the CD version shipped to us. Since we got the other Pearl Jam single (The Fixer) on vinyl, I would think we may get the full album on vinyl.

    Call back the day before it's released and we'll know for sure."

    Hopefully they get them

    I went looking for The Fixer single at a Target in St. Paul, MN about two weeks ago. The music merch guy grabbed a hard-copy printout to check if his store had it. He said that his store didn't have The Fixer single but did say that they would have a vinyl version of Backspacer available on 9/20.

    Excellent news. I was kicking myself for not pre-ordering the vinyl version, but if Target is going to have it I will get to save some much-needed cheddar.

    The employee at Newbury Comics here in MA says they will have both CD and Vinyl.

    Luckily Newbury Comics is 10 minutes form my house when I want to go get the vinyl.

    I take that back.

    Just called my Newbury Comics and they said they're stocking the vinyl.

    Very pumped!

    In my town Target and Newbury comics are in the same plaza 2 stores away. So I can pick up my special edition Rock Band Backspacer, Backspacer t-shirt, vault downloads and then go buy vinyl...all while listening to the 10C version in my car :)

    I asked at the one on Rt.114 in Peabody and he said that they have some Backspacer vinyl on order as well as the CD's. I ordered through 10C but still think it would be cool to see a PJ vinyl besides Ten on the shelf of a record store.

    Closest one would be St. Louis. Which after everything would end up costing me more to drive and go overboard at the record store.

    Im not sure if Every store in the entire Target chain will receive it.. but for sunday's release there will be a special display set up for the Vinyl records... as well as a giant poster hanging from the ceiling

    There is a nice record store in Uptown Normal, IL. Waiting Room Records. I have a vinyl reserved there. Not sure when they will get them in the Fixer didn't come in till the week after it was released.

    I think only certain targets are gonna carry the vinyl. When I went looking for the fixer. Two targets I went to looked at me like I was retarded when I asked if they had the fixer single on vinyl. But then I asked one guy at one target and he said only certain ones in the area stock that and he told me which stores they were.
