    Yeah, no e-mail here either... makes me wonder.

    I ordered something else with Avacado and ended up getting it a week late. That sucked not having it when everyone else was listening and talking about it.

    Hope no e mail doesn't mean no CD on time?? :?:

    I am very, very excited about this. If it got here Friday, that would be sick. I'm taking a half day at work and my fiancee and I are taking about an hour and half drive to go get our engagement photos taken. It would be SICK to have that to listen to in the car on the way down.

    It will probably make it easier to get through the 3 hours of photographs, weird poses, fake smiles, and what not. Not that I don't love my fiancee, just that I'm not really one for photo shoots.

    :idea: Go after the UPS trucks in pairs. After you get one to stop, one person can keep the driver busy while the other tapes posters to the sides of the truck.


    Glad to see my zip code means mine was shipped on Monday, but disappointed that the vinyl is shipping last. I was hoping to listen to listen to the LP first.

    CDs shipped today: does it mean that us, non-US fans, will receive the CD in 2, 3 or 4 weeks ???
    Why then don't we have the right to donwload the album (MP3) like it was the case for Avocado ??
    Will I have to buy a second copy of the CD next week if I don't want to wait 4 weeks to listen to Backspacer ?

    I'm a little bummed as the Fixer single shipped on a Wednesday too and didn't get it until the following Monday. I'll be downloading the iTunes LP if I don't have it by Friday.

    Regardless, I trust that they did send out all to zip codes beginning with 4-6 yesterday.... just didn't get the email.

    Mel i think everyone got the email today, i live in Florida so mine shipped Monday and I didnt get the email til today, there are a lot of east coasters and no one posted they got an email on Monday, Im sure yours shipped as well :)

    I would never question Santos, it's more that I can't wait any longer (neither can any of us, really...), and I don't want to miss the album delivery, because I'm not getting some shit mp3 download. I want to have time to listen to this on my stereo with a great sub-woofer and high end speakers. And then headphones. I just don't want my first listen to be on my computer.
