i've heard that they don't change it up, since they only have one album...whatever went down with the Innocent Criminals seems to be enough for Ben NOT to play those songs...
Need a tour Travel Agent??? Pick me :-)

He's explained that nothing went down with the Innocent Criminals. Ben said they understand that this is just something that he is going to be doing, and may be doing for a while. This music and this band (R7) was not something he wanted to come at as a side project. I think he is not playing his older material now to focus on this band and this band's music. It would not sound or be right for R7 to play IC songs or Blind Boys songs. That is just the real unique thing about BH, he has so many different genres.
  • He has only played R7 songs and the odd cover with the new band. The setlist will be pretty standard for all of the shows.
  • echoing the others here he will stick with the material from White Lies for Dark Times. They do a decent cover of Under Pressure.

I caught them at the 9:30 Club in DC this past May and it was an AMAZING show. I only received White Lies from his fan club the day of the show or 3 before the official release.

It is a very solid album and worth buying.

Keep it Together, Boots Like These, and Why Must You Always dress In Black are real treats live.

I for one hopes he sticks with the R7.

Peace and enjoy, hoping Ben makes it to Philadelphia #1.

At the TLA in Philly back in April, he did add a slower version of Better Way that was pretty sick...only non-R7 or cover tune that I can remember...
I met my wife here...you can too! Don't lose hope!

To answer your question: yes, he does.
