Should I buy seats behind the stage?

I am thinking of buying PJ tix for 10/31 at the Spectrum. For me, the affordable tix are either diagonally, or directly behind the stage. Are they worth purchasing?? How have your experiences been in seats such as these.

if you're close then i say do it. i sat behind the stage once first level like 15th row maybe. i didn't sit much. you have a great view, surprisingly. great view of matt. mike and ed will play to the back of the crowd a little. if you can get close i say yes! i had a great time. it was nj 2 on '06. sound is good also. hope this helps

  • we enjoy feeding the band energy through to the crowd, And having the crowds energy shoot back through the band at us. sound crazy? it isn't...
we are behind stage both 10/30 and 10/31 and we had the option to buy in front of stage tix. we are now closer with better sound, and a better view than if we sat in say sec 302. we've been side stage, front of stage, up down, everywhere.... but usually always end up back of stage.
    so hope that helps
  • I sat behind the stage at The Spectrum for the Dead shows in April. I was in the lower tier and they were great! I've also been behind Pearl Jam at MSG, in the dead last row, and had a great time. I'd buy those tickets in a heartbeat! :)
    Why go home?
