Saw the album for sale yesterday....

At Princeton Record Exchange in Princeton.

16.99 for the album. I didn't buy it. Had full track listing. They even had Vinyl copies and vinyl singles.


Why is it for sale there before 9/20?

    Princeton Record Exchange is awesome, they've got so much stuff, especially stuff you wont find anywhere else, so to be honest this doesn't really surprise me that it's there.

    Then again, I'm not sure they're exactly allowed to do it haha.

    I don't know what system they use, but "mom and pop" stores that don't use Soundscan usually sell stuff when they get it because there is no way to track it. There's a store in my town where the dude hand-writes all of the merchandise he sells down so he knows to re-order because nothing is ever scanned. He was selling The Beatles remasters on 9/4.

    Gotta love PREX ..i grew up in Princeton and they ALWAYS drop albums early and somehow had promo stuff up in the windows or on the walls before anyone even knew what was happening. "Secret" Shows in Philly, NJ, or NY they knew about and advertised or happily helped you find out the info you needed.

    awesome awesome awesome store. i even have a sticker of theirs on my laptop.

    yeah only about 30-40 mins for me also... It's tempting but my copy will arrive soon enough. Princeton Record Exchange is the best record store there is period.

    Has anyone checked Vintage Vinyl in Fords, NJ? I am sure they will have that album out as soon as they get it, they are an AWESOME record store! :)

    they have the cd - not the vinyl (yet)
