jay's first show was absolutely boring and horrible, and nothing more than a second-rate tonight show. conan was always funnier, and is still worth staying up later than 10pm to watch.

that said, pj should stick with playing conan, letterman, snl, etc., and avoid 'the chin' like the plague!!!

Conan's old show was pretty funny, but he has been tanking on the tonight show. and as much love as he gets around here... leno is every bit as funny as conan. i never understood the hate for the guy.

I agree with you. Not sure why Conan's show isn't translating to the new time slot and LA in general. It really isn't as good as it used to be.

Honestly... I have been watching The Jimmy Fallon show a lot. Its GOOD! I used to not really like Jimmy Fallon but the show is hecka funny. Watch it before you bash me. Its the best one of them all currently.

I watched a few times right after it came out and it was an atrocity. It has gotten alot better recently. He's great with the guests.

I always liked Leno more. There's just not much that's funny about Letterman. At least Leno has cheesy jokes.

I alway watched LENO over Letterman. He's straight up FUNNIER. At least in the last 5-10 years. Now I just relegate him as the old guys funny guy. Its Conan and Jimmy F. for me.

I guess Jimmy's show was a bit akward at first but now I think the writing is fresh. His skits are super funny.
    For example....

The Real Housewives of Late Night. IS GREAT.

I like how he plays Beer Pong with Guests.

7th Floor West is a hilarious take on crap like THE HILLS.

The Roots do some awesome shit like Freestyling the News. Check that out.

Finally... I like the whole set and how he reps Mac hard. Its clean and being a Mac guy makes me think Jimmy is smart too cuz PC are super whack.

    That's it.

Too much history with Letterman is why I don't see them doing Leno. Conan was not an issue because there has never been a riff between Letterman and Conan. In fact, quite the opposite as Dave and Conan have always been quite supportive and respectful of one another.

Plus, there is the whole thing that Leno attracts a much older audience, and Letterman and Conan have always had the younger more rock-n-roll audience.

I do hope they do a Letterman appearance soon though. I need me some Backspacer on Letterman!!! We have had every previous album from No Code onward, let's not leave Backspacer out in the NY cold.

And yeah, I am a HUGE Letterman fan. I just truly think he is way funnier than Leno. Dave is way edgier of a comedian than Leno, and I like that in a comedian.

I like Dave Letterman, Craig Ferguson, Conan O'Brien, and Jimmy Fallon. Really all of them except Leno.

I opt for family guy re-runs over all these guys...
This show, another show, a show here and a show there.

dude Letterman isn't funny at all must be spending to much time porking his staff! well except when he apologized to his wife on air I'm sure that was pretty fucking funny, anyway Leno use to be funny when he was in the late night spot, but since he changed time slots he isn't that funny at all, but I would love to see PJ on anyones show because that would be the only reason I probably would watch the show!
  • letterman is way better than leno. conan is better than both of them, and kimmel is a close second. fallon, horrible. guy acts so uncomfortable in his own skin. maybe it's his schtick, i don't know, but it doesn't work.

but i'll take a PJ appearance anywhere i can get it. if they wanna show up on the Sean Hannity show, that'll be the one time I tune into that f-cktard.

Hopefully that end will come soon. Letterman is like watching a dying fish flop around. That show SUCKS.

Sorry Letterman. Please don't bone me.

Leno is funnier to people with a simple sense of humor.

He's like the Jonas Brothers, easy for a large audience to digest.

    Letterman is more like PJ.
