These are all great responses..I have a second confession..I spend all day long at work on this board..and I write Pearl Jam on all my Dunkin Donuts cups...its true..Im so ashamed

At work I always have AT LEAST Ten Club as my background, checking threads every 20 minutes. On the paper where I write down notes the letters P and J appear suspiciously often. When I use my computer programs and pretend to work diligently Pearl Jam rushes through my ears (and brain). There are even words I can't use or hear without thinking of a certain band (well, maybe also because I'm not a Native speaker :P ). I also constantly surf the internet for more information on Pearl Jam ...and - at least at this moment - my only real source of happiness lies in this band.

  • as if it weren't obvious, i am mike and i've been a PJ-aholic since 1992. i wear more PJ tees than non, both my 2 year old and my 4 month old have their own tees and onesies, and over the past two months i've acquired about 30 new bootlegs to feed the monster. i've also recently decided it would be a good thing to suddenly start to collect a PJ vinyl collection as well as posters from all the shows i've been to. i've got tickets to 3/4 shows in philly. all of which has helped me be able to memorize my check card number and has my wallet wanting to slap me silly. on weekends when my wife and kids are in bed, i break out the dvds, put on the headphones, crack the scotch and immerse myself in a psuedo concert experience. i'm hopelessly addicted and loving every second of it.
  • hi, my name is pete. i am here cuz i have an obsession with everything pearl jam. i listen to them almost exclusivly. it is very common for me to have at least 100 boots with me at all times, like eddie carrys his book well i have my case logic. i do not want any help for my addiction. i only want more music by the greatest band on the planet.

Hi everyone. Im a doctor (err resident) and sometimes when my patients are going on and on about their complaints, my mind wanders off to a far far away place with Pearl Jam music playing ohhh so softly.

This is usually cut off with a, "Doctor, are you listening to a word Im sayin'?"

Can anyone help me or maybe Im the reason health care needs a reform.

If you're the reason why health care needs a reform, the USA is not the only country that needs one

I think maybe you could reform the world's Health Care....they just need to listen to Pearl Jam.

I would also like to give a 'heads up' to you good people here, as I have directed a few other tragics to this site.

i have another confession to make.

    this is bad :?

so my GF has been wanting to have a kid for awhile now. i keep putting her off and putting her off.

but every time i look in the goods section and see the "i got shit" onesie, i cave a little.

i fear my addiction will directley affect another living being by bringing one into this world just for the onesie.

and then of course, i have no doubt in my mind that the addiction will be passed on to the child.

  • Hello all,

My name is Mike and I also suffer from this not even close to debilitating disease. It has now creeped into all facets of my life, at work where I shoot and edit video my headphones aren't checking audio levels, no they are listening to whatever PJ songs is playing, I turned down a family vacation, in Jamaica no less, for 4 glorious nights in Philadelphia. thanks for the knowledge I am not alone.

no need to fear, there is in fact, a PJ gene that is a dominant. your kids, like mine, will have no choice but to be born PJ-addicted. don't worry, there's a support group...

    Not.
If you just saw the crap I just posted on the Porch
Anyway, I honestly do! Only listen to PJ at home. My partner is not into music AT ALL, if he puts music on it's LAME. I got kids, I can only take over the the audio equipment when the LOUDNESS does not interfere with thier head.
I know I have a problem. And I am glad PJ is it.

  • Hi I am Vicky and i am PJholic. Also EVholic. Its been six months since I can not hear anything buy PJ. I have bought 2 tshirts. I am always singing by myself when I am working. Cant think anything else but this music.
Well, on the other hand, this addiction made me thought about new goals: I've started to prepare my advance english test, I've started singing classes and when i pass my english test i will follow electric gittar classes.

It's not so bad this PJadiction. But carefull with EVadiction. Its impossible to find such a cute, perfection guy like him in Madrid.
