Thanks for sharing. My name is Jo and I am a PJholic. I don't see anything wrong with this addiction and have shamelessly pressured others to join me. I listen to nothing else at home. I also have a confession........
my friend wanted to borrow a DVD from me, and when he wasn't looking I removed the disc and gave him the cover only. Thankyou for listening.

    LOL, i love that thread!!

My name is Laura, and i fear i am a *little* addicted too... 3 weeks ago, i started school again, and in the first 3 days everybody knew i was crazy about PJ!okay, i might have worn band shirts/hoodie all the time, carried photos with me which i looked at constantly while classes, listened to noting but PJ, sung my favourite songs whenever i could (and i dont get one tone...) suddenly played air-guitar/drum solos in inappropriate moments...
maybe i should mention, that i came home from the uk, the friday before school, looked quite fucked up!! ;);) and was flying 10 metres above the ground!!

i think i am on a good way of recovering (although don't want to) since i won't see any shows soon, and can't afford going to loads of shows when they come back to europe 2010 or '11...

ah, to those of you who were in berlin or the uk, yeah i am the crazy, loud german girl with her flag, stupid haircolour and only pearl jam songs on her iPod!!

  • Hi - I'm Andy and also, a PJaholic.

Alas my affliction isn't as bad as many people on here, although I have gone a long 6 hours without listening to the strains of Edward, Michael, Geoffry, Matthew and, er Stone - I blame having to work for this. Once my work has finished, I will put on my ipod and listen to some random PJ track and then press the back button. This process will repeat about five times until I have got home. On Friday, I played four PJ songs on the dukebox at the pub, I got some strange looks. I was sitting there quite contempt listening to Severed Hand, Porch, Given to Fly and Betterman - although the chavs around me were wondering why I wasn't putting on any RnB or Brittnay Spears. In fact, I do think now I am cured and those people have the problem!

    THANK YOU FOR LISTENING!
    :D Rock on!!!! :D
Seen Pearl Jam 4 times in London, once in Manchester, as well as an Eddie show at Hammersmith.

At work I always have AT LEAST Ten Club as my background, checking threads every 20 minutes. On the paper where I write down notes the letters P and J appear suspiciously often. When I use my computer programs and pretend to work diligently Pearl Jam rushes through my ears (and brain). There are even words I can't use or hear without thinking of a certain band (well, maybe also because I'm not a Native speaker :P ). I also constantly surf the internet for more information on Pearl Jam ...and - at least at this moment - my only real source of happiness lies in this band.

  • as if it weren't obvious, i am mike and i've been a PJ-aholic since 1992. i wear more PJ tees than non, both my 2 year old and my 4 month old have their own tees and onesies, and over the past two months i've acquired about 30 new bootlegs to feed the monster. i've also recently decided it would be a good thing to suddenly start to collect a PJ vinyl collection as well as posters from all the shows i've been to. i've got tickets to 3/4 shows in philly. all of which has helped me be able to memorize my check card number and has my wallet wanting to slap me silly. on weekends when my wife and kids are in bed, i break out the dvds, put on the headphones, crack the scotch and immerse myself in a psuedo concert experience. i'm hopelessly addicted and loving every second of it.
  • hi, my name is pete. i am here cuz i have an obsession with everything pearl jam. i listen to them almost exclusivly. it is very common for me to have at least 100 boots with me at all times, like eddie carrys his book well i have my case logic. i do not want any help for my addiction. i only want more music by the greatest band on the planet.

Hi everyone. Im a doctor (err resident) and sometimes when my patients are going on and on about their complaints, my mind wanders off to a far far away place with Pearl Jam music playing ohhh so softly.

This is usually cut off with a, "Doctor, are you listening to a word Im sayin'?"

Can anyone help me or maybe Im the reason health care needs a reform.

If you're the reason why health care needs a reform, the USA is not the only country that needs one

I think maybe you could reform the world's Health Care....they just need to listen to Pearl Jam.

I would also like to give a 'heads up' to you good people here, as I have directed a few other tragics to this site.
