It's not an official DVD but here is where I got mine. I'm pretty sure it's just a rip of the VHS that was released. The quality of mine is really good.

yeah I've seen things like this before but I'm talking about a fully remastered DVD quality version...seriously, what is the hold up on this thing?

  • yes, they did say that in one of those Q&A's from the Message Pit or something. We all still wait. Who knows, maybe it was scrapped. I still watch my VHS often. I love that show.

I think it [a dvd release] is going to happen eventually. We just have to be patient. I was amazed by the youtube rip I saw, I just wish the vhs (same as youtube rip) had been the full show. What I saw was incredible. I am so jealous of anyone who got to see a Mad season show. I think I remember they only did about 6-10 shows all in Seattle over the bands short lived lifespan.

I was waiting for Hype and Nirvana: Live tonight, sold out to be dvd releases and it happened. So did the Pearl jam unplugged (with the deluxe bundle ten reissue, and edited to shreds) but still.

It's been 14 years since the vhs of that show was released...I think we've been patient enough

True that. I agree Patience can be a bitch. I just hope it's the whole show. Maybe some of us should email the Layne Stayley foundation (I think Layne's mom runs the site) as well as running the whole foundation. Maybe we can get that rolling. I'll email tomorrow or this weekend at the latest. worth a shot right?
