Hi, everyone! Kinda new to this forum but have been a PJ fan for a long time. Have a little dilemma. The good kind though. Hope you guys can help me. My husband and I are coming to Seattle for the show on the 21st. It will be our first time to Seattle and it happens to be our 12th wedding anniversary! The 21st, that is.

Okay, that's not the dilemma. That's the good part.

Here's the dilemma We are traveling EARLY on the 20th; the day of the release of Backspacer. Is it true that Backspacer is only going to be for sale at Target or from iTunes? I'm trying to figure out how I am going to be able to purchase Backspacer the day of the release when I will be traveling from South Florida. I really want to to be able to hold the CD in my hands rather than purchasing from iTunes, but maybe I'll be purchasing multiples copies (i.e. iTunes, CD, and vinyl!).

What do you think? Any suggestions?

See you all in Seattle!

  • I have the same problem. Traveling from the East Coast to Seattle for the concerts. Easy Street in West Seattle is selling the CD at midnight on Sept. 19th (actually -- Sept. 20th). Check The Porch for more info.

Just go to pretty much indie record store or Target in Seattle.

Don't bother heading over to West Seattle if you're not going to be there in time for the party- just go pick it up from the Easy Street store in Queen Anne .

Yep, there are two Easy Streets in Seattle and a Target. :)

There is an Easy Street Records within walking distance of the Seattle Center (where the Key Arena is located). It's more than a couple blocks but definitely doable, especially if you are staying close the the Key.
  • from this initial post i think there is a huge misconception out there still, that probably should be addressed... the record is not only for sale at target - its also available at any indie record shop/.
