A flood?
It has been raining so much lately
that my backyard pool 's getting stately
sooo full as the rain fills it up, yup
storms fill the cement cup
so, it's almost over-flowing!
climbing the edge soon, the water will pass
perhaps tomorrow morning, it'll water my plants?
when I dive in to swim, I know it!
my joy in the morning, jump in to it!
and, a mess of puddles may follow but
I don't care if I commit this sin of muddiness, what (?)
a small price to pay for the exercise I love BEST,
