    only us nerds would get excited about it at this point. the audience theyre aiming for isnt going to remember that the album will be available in a week--we americans have short attention spans. I wouldnt expect the ad to start until friday or saturday and then be in heavy rotation next sunday and forward.

    I checked the Target ad in the paper today and nothing on Backspacer. Are they seriously waiting till release date to mention it?

    It really only makes sense to show a commercial for something that people can go buy now. Logic says, we will see it next weekend sometime.

    The "Backspacer available September 20" (or something like that) is up at Target, in the music section. Saw it this morning.

    I went to my local Target and saw a small endcap marker advertising Backspacer, that's all.
    By the way, if any one needs The Fixer single, there are 5 available at the Target in Mays Landing, NJ.

    I haven't seen the commercial but have seen Backspaper wild posters around town. It's a picture of the album cover with the 9.20.09 onsale date. I think they must have just gone up as I just noticed them today.
