They are not on vinyl now and as far as I know there has been no official announcement for such a release. However, I've read rumors that they may be released next year. Just rumors though.
    2003: San Antonio, Houston, Dallas, Seattle; 2005: Monterrey; 2006: Chicago 1 & 2, Grand Rapids, Cleveland, Detroit; 2008: West Palm Beach, Tampa; 2009: Austin, LA 3 & 4, San Diego; 2010: Kansas City, St. Louis, Columbus, Indianapolis; 2011: PJ20 1 & 2; 2012: Missoula; 2013: Dallas, Oklahoma City, Seattle; 2014: Tulsa; 2016: Columbia, New York City 1 & 2; 2018: London, Seattle 1 & 2; 2021: Ohana; 2022: Oklahoma City
  • I've heard the same rumors for a future release, but I was told no earlier than 2011. That was from a music distributor in Hong Kong, but I still take it with a grain of salt.

I just wish they'd release more mono box sets. They've just announced that no more will be released. I unfortunately missed the pre-sale, so I only have the stereo box. The stereo box is great, but I've heard some of the mono releases and they're fantastic. I'd love to have both, but I'm not willing to pay the ~$1000 people are selling them for now.

My only hope is that HMV in HK is still listing that they'll have the US version of the boxset imported this Monday. I'm not sure why they would be importing them, as the HK set was indentical. Ether way, I have a pre-order in for that should it happen to actually show up. FINGERS CROSSED!!!

For those that haven't heard these releases yet, they blow away any versions (including vinyl) I've ever heard of the recordings. They really did a fantastic job with these releases! If only all CDs sounded this good!

I had read that they were making more mono sets, but it would still remain a limited release. Don't know if thats true, but either way Amazon still has it available at http://www.amazon.com/Beatles-Mono-Box- ... 147&sr=8-1

Get it before its too late!

so has anyone else thought about why all the beatles exposure lately? i don't know all the details but does Michael Jacksons death have anything to do with it? didn't he own a lot of the rights to beatles songs or something? since his death we have beatles guitar hero, remastered collection and i feel like i am hearing beatles used on TV more often

    thoughts?

Michael Jackson has nothing to do with this. It's the fourth coming of Beatlemania. 1964 (the British Invasion), 1987 (the albums are released on CD), 1995 (the anthology), and 2009 (the albums are remastered)

What I don't understand about the UK release is that, after exchange, the set was nearly double the price compared to everywhere else in the world. I'm still hoping HMV comes through with my order this week. I also have a pre-order with Amazon, just incase they end up getting a second shipment (which their customer services reps can't confirm at the moment).

Not for me. It's been $229 here on Amazon. I paid $263 after exchange rates and shipping. I must have ordered at the right time, because I noticed a steep price increase on Amazon UK after I ordered.
