Who's excited to play 'Backspacer' on Rock BAND?

I am!! Really looking forward to bonding with the new material through this medium. It's a new way to enjoy new PJ, and I'll take it any way I can get it!

    I've been playing through the story mode of Beatles Rockband with my girlfriend and its been pretty fun even though I'm not a huge fan of their music, its pretty hard to get into your 30s and not know pretty much all of their songs without trying isn't it!? I played through GH:Metallica before this and found myself laughing through the Beatles solos - not in a mean way, its just funny how guitar playing has evolved since then. I have the PJ DLC thats been released so far and its magic so will defo be getting Backspacer when that drops. Would be great to see as much love and attention put into a full Pearl Jam release as the Beatles game - is that still on the cards?

    Yeah, I'm curious about this as well. Haven't heard much since the announcement/vote on the tracklist deal.

    Definitely looking forward to jamming with my brother to new Backspacer tunes though.

    Somebody help me out here... We have a Wii and Guitar Hero (with guitar). I plan to pick up PJ Rock Band when it comes out, but what are the steps I need to take to play Backspacer on the Wii?

    Do I need a different guitar or will the Guitar Hero guitar work on Rock Band?
    Do I need to buy a particular Rock Band game or can I somehow download Backspacer without having a Rock Band disc in the Wii?
    How do you actually download a game on the Wii?

    i find this alot on this site ... everyone thinks u must like whatever one else likes ... i don't have to like Rock band just because other people do ... .. so sorry !!! i like dell computer and let me guess how many apple people are going to jump me for that ... :mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen:

    Guitar should work fine
    You will need a copy of the Rock Band 2 disc in the Wii
    You have to have your Wii connected to a network in order to access the online store from within the game's menu to download it

    Guitar Hero guitars work with Rockband games. I have a Japanese Wii so not sure about the market place element, doubt it will only be out on 360 - but you will need either Rockband or Rockband 2 disc to be able to play the downloaded content (once you figure that bit out)...

    I just bought the beatles one the other day for the wii, so im a rockband newbie...

    alsmost held out because i didnt know what system the pj one was gonna be released for
    it's largely due to eddie that i liked to jump off of things as a child...

    Hold up! I've been 360 for all this stuff so have no idea if Wii gets the DLC or not...better check on the Rockband forum for clarification - would seem odd if they didn't do it, can you get Ten and the live tracks they have released already?

    also bought the Beatles one and the shit is phenomenal!! they really did a great job making this game...i hope they put the same love into the PJ game.

    yeah... although ive only played the beatles on, its awesome... the opening and closing animation sequences are trippy as hell...the game is really good and so accurate to the actual film footage of what is portayed...definately would give it 5 stars

    Guitar hero guitars work in Rock Band 2 for the Wii. They do NOT work in Rock Band 1.

    With the XBox 360 and XBox Live if I buy RockBand2 the game, can I download Backspacer next Sunday?

    Also, can I download Ten still if I buy the RockBand2 game today?
