He has been what has made the Yankees great for the last several years. His class and intensity is what every ball player should strive to be. Congrats Jeter on the all-time Yankees hits leader!
I’ve seen Pearl Jam 25 times, Eddie Vedder 9 times, and Brad once.

As a Red Sox fan, I've got to give it up to The Captain. Class act and a helluva ballplayer.

May he reach 3000 hits and NEVER win another championship.

    Fair enough.

It has been a pleasure to watch him play. He plays the game the right way and is a complete class act.

Same here even if I wasn't a Red Sox fan, his play and leadership has been exemplary over the years. My 13 year daughter loves him but NOT necessarily for his play.

It's been a pleasure to see him in pinstripes for all these years. Hats off to DJ for passing the iron horse as the all time yankee hits leader.

As a Red Sox lifelong fan I absolutely fuckin hate the Yankees. But Jeter is one cool cat, one of the only good things in the Yankee organization as of late.
