Santa Barbara Bowl

Dearest Pearl Jam,

PLEASE find your way back to the Santa Barbara Bowl soon....

Anyone surprised to see that they have not added a show for the bowl???? :cry:

    yes, surprised and pissed off. i had (what i thought) good inside info that they would be playing here this fall.

    That was the one place I wanted to see them above all this year. I was very disappointed to see that they skipped the SB bowl and played 4 shows in LA.

    And now that I am hitting LA and SD this year, it will be tough to get to a show at the SB Bowl in 2010, which is probably when they'll stop by next.

    It is actually less about money and more about vacation time and going to different places. So many places I would love to see the band play that I've never been to that are high on my list: I've never been to Italy despite my dad being born there, one of my good friends just moved to New Orleans, friends out in Calgary, and then there is always the lure of places like Red Rocks and Vegas.

    We'll have to wait until next year to see how the tour ends up looking. SB isn't out the question, it is just not a guarantee like it would have been this year...

    i know a great beach where people can camp :)
