    I heard that on the radio on my way to work and it was great. I thought someone should give those two some boxing gloves to really get it on. :D It comes across even better on the tube.

    when a harvard professor can't defend Israel in a debate....that's it. that's the last resort for Israel. he's the the academic elite....and he cant defend them. . that's why this is significant.

    i liked the part where Finkeltstein had the clip of Dershowitz on tv saying if anyone could find 1 error or falsehood in his book he'd pay $10,000 then showed Dershowitz's book citing another book saying only 2,000-3,000 Palestinians were displaced when the book he cites actually said 200,000-300,000 and Dershowitz argued it was just a typo so it doesn't count

    It's depressing to think that Dershowitz is actually a Harvard professor. The man is a disgrace. He's a typical Lawyer - slippery as a toad, and with the morals of a jackal.

    It's great to watch Finkelstein destroy him in this debate. I don't think Dershowitz ever fully recovered. And Finkelstein then went on to further destroy Dershowitz in his next book 'Beyond Chutzpah - On the Misuse of Antisemitism and the Abuse of History'. He systematically debunks Dershowitz's book 'The Case For Israel', and Dershowitz was unable to counter any of it's criticisms. Why he is still on Harvard's payroll doesn't say much for the state of academia in America.

    i know, he really handed it to him. it was funny to see him weasel out of the 2,000-3,000/200,000-300,000 error first saying he wasn't talking about phase II but then when he can't weasel out of that he says it's just a typo.

    i watched this the other day and normally when i see people post that someone spanks someone in a debate ... it's usually more bias than anything else ... in this case - dershowitz clearly looks inferior ... which explains his body language and tone ...
