    Immortality is a great one yes.
    Excluding the tons of greats from the past and going with the best song of Gen X I have to say it's:

    Immortality's OK. Easily the second best song on Vitalogy (Nothingman). But Uncle Neil, the Beatles and Zeppelin could and have written MUCH better songs that have stood the test of time.

    Great song, but that list of people who can be "fucked" is a bit over the top. Zeppelin was amazing. I could think of lots of other songs by them and other bands that are better than Immortality.

    Yes a great song but it really come to life live, have many versions & Self Pollution Radio is the best. Love the way it is brought home with the drums at the end. So haunting & powerfull. Was very surprised & happy to hear at the o2.
