Dave Abbruzzese live in germany (updated with review)

Hope it`s ok to post this here but hey he belongs to Pearl Jams history and some people might not want to miss this. Dave Abbruzzese will play drums for Stevie Salas on his tour through Germany starting tomorrow!
They play in very small clubs (in Berlin were i`m going i think it`s about 150 capacity!).

For me this is a dream coming true finally seeing one of my favorite drummers - waited for this for 16 years :D

    I see they have a sweden date, might try and persuade my friend to go.

    I`m still not 100% sure if Dave will really play for them. The club website says so but no other confirmation.
    As Stevie Salas plays with a lot of drummers it will still be kind of a surprise. Does anyone can confirm that it`s really him?

    Oh man I just recovered from an amazing evening. Dave is alive and kicking!
    And not only that he is an extremely nice guy! The show was great and Dave`s playing is as good as it was 15 years ago (if not better). After the show he took the time to talk with me for about ONE HOUR :o
    He talked about everything - about the broke up - about his new projects... It was really interesting to finally hear it all from his perspective. I won`t talk about details here because I think that`s something they have to do if they want... And it`s history... Pearl Jam lost an amazing drummer but he seems to do pretty well now.
    It sounded like he will do more live playing now so there might be a chance for you to also see him (don`t miss it!).
    One cool thing he also signed my VS vinyl. It was funny because i was a bit afraid that he does not want to sign it because just one week ago i had it signed by PJ (when they played in Berlin). I was not sure if he would like that :-) But it turns out that he`s still very proud of the stuff he did there and had absolutely no problem with it.

    Dude... that's really cool.

    Glad he is happy and doing well. I've always felt sorta bad for him. Happy he is happy.

    far and away the best drummer pearl jam ever had. i wish he had stayed in the band. sure they probably would have imploded but they could have been one of the most brutal rock and roll bands ever.

    matt cameron was incredible with soundgarden but he seems to be quickly ushering in the age of adult contemporary pearl jam.

    Yeah this really means a lot to me. This is my all time favorite album and having all original members on it is just awesome. But especially Dave`s signature i would not have believed that this could ever happen :D

    Found out about this to late. Playing in Sweden tonight. Would love to go but.. damn... this came to late... grr.. and don't have anything here for him to sign, everything is stacked in boxes at my moms house far from here :/ I guess he would not like to sign Mansfield 2 & 3 boots from 2003 :D
