  • I have this and totally agree. Of course, it's Neil Finn running the show so what'd you expect? Everything he touches turns to gold. ;)

It's out overseas but here in the US September 29th release.

I listened to 7 Worlds for the 1st time in about a year, twice this weekend on long drives.

Looking forward to the new effort

I've been waiting for this to finally be realeased but couldn't ever find a release date. Thanks for the head's up. If it's half as good as the first one I'll be very happy. I hope they release on dvd as well.

This one's a double disc studio recording as opposed to the live recording Neil did on the original "7 Worlds Collide", so I doubt you'll be seeing a DVD release, unless they decide to do a "making of" sort of thing. There's been no DVD accompanying the versions released in the UK and Australia/New Zealand. I've got the UK release. The Phil Selway stuff is surprisingly great and the Wilco songs probably surpass anything they released on their latest LP.

There's been YouTube videos of a documentary about the album, it's in four parts.

I think the Tweedy / Selway tracks are actually the best ones on there...
