Hi there peep holes

Just thought I'd pop my head round the door and say hello. I was a Ten Club member up until February/March time of this year, bit cancelled my membership not long after our first son was born - thinking a) PJ were never going to come to the UK, and b) I wasn't really being an active member...

Well, after much hoo-ha and sweaty Ticketmaster watching I finally managed to get to see them at the O2 and wish I'd done it sooner, and more often (having been listening to them for 16 or so years), but due to circumstances and events over the years never had the opportunity.

I think I actually cried a bit when I was there, but enough about that!

Looking forward to some mass debating with you all!

Tata for now.

  • Hello :)

Welcome and congrats on the new baby! That's so awesome you got to see PJ at the 02, that would've been a great show to be at!

It's always nice to see new people posting, i've noticed it has been a little quiet around here lately when i drop in, so a big welcome to you.

Was a bit surprised when I saw the heading of your post - thought David Frost had dropped in. Relieved it wasn't.

I'm only new here but welcome back.

Cheers dudette (I'm making presumptions here).

It was my first (but hopefully not last) PJ show - loved it.

I'm not what you might call a hard core fan, but I have more PJ CD's (pretty much every studio album) than any other band, and listen to them more than anyone else, so I guess you could say I'm a fan at least.

Here's our little 7 month old dude.

the presumption is correct, i am a dudette lol..

i've loved pearl jam since i was 12, and i would describe myself as reasonably hardcore, although i rarely post in the porch and rather dislike the use of the term 'jamily'. eeew. your little man is adorable, he looks like he very much enjoyed his food there!

Jamily - fnar fnar. It's kinda sweet don't you think, in an Amerkan Schoolgirl icky kinda way.

I have rejuvinated my love of PJ ever since seeing them last month - and I have a sneaky feeling I may get some PJ related stuff for my birthday tomorrow...

Still finding my way round this here forum, so you see you around.
