Amazon preorders?

What have you experienced with pre-ordering through Amazon? The first and only thing I've ever preordered through them is Beatles Rockband, let me say it for you....(clears throat)..."Learn how to play a real instrument" okay, now that that's out of the way, my estimated day of delivery is Sept. 14. Is this typical? I assumed that if it was preordered (I ordered in June) it would be to me on release date. I'm in N. California so shipping shouldn't be an issue. Guess I should of just bought it at target :)

I've preordered from Amazon before and received things the day of release or once the day before. Amazon is usually great about that stuff and always put out a later ETA.

I have gotten some items the day of or before but twice they were very late. Weeks late.
  • my only experiences have been with harry potter books, and theyve always come on time. but i think someone at amazon would have gotten fired if harry potter orders were delivered early, or murdered if they were delivered late :P

I always preorder stuff on Amazon. I never had any problems.
These cuts are leaving creases. Trace the scars to fit the pieces, to tell the story, you don't need to say a word.
  • Amazon has my apologies. When I tracked my order on the 8th it gave an ETA of the 14th. It arrived on the 9th as advertised -- sorry for jumping the gun amazon! You lived up to expectation.
