Downloaded the boot over the long weekend and gave a listen yesterday.

Whats up with this show? Pretty awesome. Anyone agree? and is this show often mentioned among the best of 2000?

Any fan views there? How cold was it?

  • I'll never forget that show for the cold. What an experience. Dissident on the Touring Band DVD is from that show.

Too cold for a second encore, that's how cold. :P

It wasn't the longest show, but they packed in quite a bit of awesomeness. RVM was fantastic as the closer.

The combination of that show and the amazing Chicago show the next day(23 song first set!) is really tough to beat.

What a night that was. So cold I had to buy PJ socks for my hands. I was right in front on the lawn and seeing the steam coming from the crowd in front of me is something I'll never forget. The Chicago show that followed was amazing. Touring band 2000 has song from Alpine, Dissident I think. The Ice Bowl was very cool experience.

I too listened to the boot this weekend!

When Ed said, "Welcome to the Ice Bowl," I had to look up the weather for that date.

It was a kickass show, I'll tell you what. I still for the life of me cannot remember why I wasn't there...
  • It was my first show, although I'd been a fan since '93. Just too young and missed out on tickets in '98, joined club in '99.

It was freezing. In the 20s.

Do you know what it's like to fall in the mud and get kicked... in the head... with an iron boot? Of course you don't, no one does. It never happens. Sorry, Ted, that's a dumb question... skip that.
