Ran into Mike today at Bumbershoot festival (Seattle)

Today was the 2nd time I've got to chat with Mr. McCready (the first being in Chicago after Lolla)and I still can't believe how f-ing cool he is.

What happened was my friend/band-mate and I separated at the festival and he ran into Mike. While talking to him, he called me. Unfortunately, I was on the complete opposite side of the Seattle Center.

My friend had already mentioned to him that we were in a band, so he told him I was at the festival with a demo. Mike tells him, "Well get him over here, I'll wait." He waited for at least 15 minutes for me to rush my ass through the herds of people. When I gave him the CD he said, "Thanks man. I promise, I will ACTUALLY listen to it."

Weather he likes it or not or if nothing ever comes of this meeting, all I can say is damn, what an awesome dude. There should be a picture of him next to the definition of "Classy" in the dictionary.

    Dude I swear I saw Matt today I walked into the center house and he was yawning but I couldn't tell 'cuz I was walking past him fast but maybe it was just some dude who looks alot like him.
    Thats cool you ran into Mike! Wish I had seen him, I was wearing my PJ shirt today.

    Hahaha! That was a really neat story - esp where he said he'd stay and wait for you....that is so cool! :D

    Are you nervous about him listening to your demo??

    I could imagine my hubby sweating and biting his nails, wondering if they heard it and what they thought.... there were times he almost mailed in his demo years ago but didn't have the guts to do it. Heheh.
