Notification of a Criminal Incident

Strong Armed Robbery - Seattle Campus
This message to members of the University community is being sent in the interest of public safety and in compliance with federal law requiring timely warning notification of crimes committed on or near campus.

On September 5, 2009, at 7:30 p.m., a female UW student was on her way to the UW vs. LSU football game walking alone in parking area E-9 on the north side of Husky Stadium. She was pushed to the ground by two unknown males in their 20's, who then took the victim's football ticket from her rear pocket. Both suspects fled toward the North Plaza entrance to Husky Stadium and entered the facility. Responding Officers were unable to locate the suspects among the crowd. Fortunately, the victim did not sustain serious injury.
Anyone having information regarding this incident is asked to call UWPD at 206-685-8973, and refer to case number 09-001757.
Prevention tips for incidents such as this:
- Walk with a group.
- Be aware of your environment and alert for possible danger.
- Remove yourself from potentially dangerous situations as soon as possible.
- Call 911 to report suspicious activity or persons to the police.

I usually know exactly where I'm sitting before I enter any venue. If she knows her exact seats, couldn't police go right to those seats and if the 2 people are stupid enough to be in those seats...arrest them on the spot.
Just sayin...
don't know for sure but I'm guessing if they are student tickets they are general admission and could be anywhere in the section. I'm pretty sure that is how Penn State student tickets are.
Yeah, a lot of schools do GA seating in student sections... but if they were actual seats, the thieves would have to be complete morons to sit there.
