LOL! There was a guy the other day selling a copy of SP's Pisces Iscariot w/ a bonus 7" single (hand numbered, 2000 copies) for the princely sum of $1,999. I sent him a best offer of $100 and he laughed and said he wouldn't sell it for less than $1,500. I laughed and walked away.

I think in time Benny Hall will be a piece of music history. I already think it is.

because of the actual music, or the scarcity?

i fail to see any comparison at all between an acoustic concert pearl jam did ten plus years into their career that got pressed onto a limited run vinyl and the first single from the band that changed the face of modern music (like them or not you can't argue with nirvana did to popular music).

Also unlike Benny, there are a ton of fake copies out there which pushes the prices of authentic copies even higher.

Fact of the matter is Love Buzz was also originally a limited edition hand numbered release. If that weren't only a 1,000 copies pressed now way would it be appreciating in value like it is.

No, I agree completely. I love Nirvana still to this day. I just think that the 2hr plus show PJ performed in 2003 was the best they've ever done in my opinion. Let's say Benny Hall is an extension of that era of music that was birthed by bands like Nirvana and Soundgarden. Also, that's a crazy price for a 7"single. I don't care if there's only 1,000 out there or not. My first car didn't cost that much.
