I remember seeing that if you recycled an old cell phone, you get a Pearl Jam t-shirt.. Anyone know if this promotion is still taking place?

    I saw it at the 2008 West Palm Beach concert, but it was a vacation for me so i didn't happen to have an old cell phone in my pocket.

    I dont remember seeing this booths at the Chicago show.

    it was a bag, a mini poster of the band, Immagine in Cornice DVD and the T-shirt, I turned in 1 cellphone in tampa and another one in Camden last year, they were Verizon Wireless stands.

    yeah i brough some with me to the Chicago show, but didn't see the booths around. i was a bit disappointed because i really have no use for these old things, and I can always use more PJ stuff either for myself or to give to my brother. Maybe next year..

    as far as i know it was a verizon promotion only at the 08 show...hand in an old cell and they gave you:

    a pearl jam/verizon pull string backpack
    a pearl jam tshirt (ive seen them in both tan and green)
    a small pearl jam/verizon poster
    AND
    an official copy of imagine in cornice on dvd.

    both my brother and i traded our phones in...cool stuff

    08 tour only...so no...its no longer going on
    it's largely due to eddie that i liked to jump off of things as a child...

    i went to like 8 shows last tour and i think i got a goodie bag at every show.
    i have a paper here that entitles me to fast track status

    If anyone wants my Tan shirt (size L) gimme a buzz. It's just not my color, and fits way bigger than a Large. I think I only wore it to try it on, and then washed it several times to try to get it to shrink. $15 shipped
