They have been playing snippets off the new album before each commercial break. Maybe not every single one, but there have been several. WAY TO GO PJ & NASCAR & ESPN!!!!!!!!!!

I believe most NASCAR fans are southerners so perhaps they are sending a secret message "listen to our new stuff cos we ain't playing the south again"
  • I think PJ doing these things now is a great idea. I'm hearing more Backspacer on ESPN than on the radio. Now I'm hearing they're playing it during Nascar too? These little things will definitly help the general public realize they are still around and great. I love watching webgems on Baseball Tonight and hearing The Fixer, then have Peter Gammons talk about Eddie, great times for Pearl Jam.

Most probable are, but NASCAR also races in Delaware, New York, New Hampshire, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, California, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Arizona, so it isn't just us rednecks.

Well seeing as NASCAR is about the most environmentally unfriendly "sport" around, I wouldn't count on PJ supporting NASCAR in any way tbh.

    yeah, that and golf.
  • I was kind of curious if the #42 Target car might have a "Backspacer" theme this week. Especially since it's the "Chevy Rock and Roll 400"...
