...Pearl Jam, a group filled with pride, passion, and intricate musicianship. Their music is full of subtle textures, rich color, soul-searching power, imagery, and eerie dissonance.

Just Breathe is amazing, well at least what I've heard so far... I hope I get to hear all the songs on the album live in between Portland and Austin, Ive heard Supersonic, Got Some and The Fixer live so far and they sound AWESOME live!

  • The album sounds so much tighter than the last few records, really focused with strong melodies. I'd dare to say it's their most concise and energetic album since Vs.
  • WOW. Gonna See My friend sounds so much better now. I also think Johnny Guitar sounds amazing.

I'm excited. What I have heard sounds great. I was pleased to hear the clip of "Unthought Known" -- I have not been able to get that out of my head since Newark, and the clip did not disappoint.

I don't think I can draw too many conclusions from 30-second clips, but my impression right now is that "Got Some" might actually be the -- I hate to say "weakest," can't think of the right word at the moment -- song on the album. If that's the case, I am in for a real treat. :D
