DEEP has to be one of the most over looked, and under appreciated song, especially from the first CD ever! Don't get me wrong, Porch is now and originally Alive was my favorites on TEN..

DEEP doesn't seem to get the LOVE or the amount of plays LIVE that it should..

    DEEP is amazing, arguably the hardest rocking song on Ten and that's why I love it. I posted a thread a few months ago asking why they've retired it and I don't think I got an answer. Regardless it's easily in my top ten. PLAY DEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP.

    i love it too. Listen to it more than just about anything else off Ten. Seriously underrated. How you can think it's bad, Spot in the sky, is beyond me!!

    Deep is a huge reason why i love Pearl jam so much, it was the first track from Ten that i truly loved. Please don't talk bad about Deep, it hurts my feelings! :cry:

    Fox Theatre, Atlanta I think 1994.. fucking AMAZING! Ed absolutely destroys this shit! I am shocked that people actually don't like this song! WOW! For the folks that don't like this, is it that you are in to their softer more reflective stuff? Please explain..

    TEN is the Biggest studio album, especially for the common fan, in the PJ catalog. DEEP became a latter favorite for me...great guitar sounds

    Everyone has their favorites and some think the sophmore effort is more important to a band then their debut. Well, -VS- doesn't disappoint...might be better at times

    Deep and Porch are my favorites...
    But how many bands really put out a classic album anymore, especially since 1990?

    Beatles, Zeppelin, Floyd, Who, Doors -vs- Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, S.T.P

    The slide guitar work is bad-ass on Deep! Should really sit down and learn how to play it. There are some classic live versions of it too! 8-)
