    Just landed in auckland.....last 2 shows were unreal...eddie battled thru sydney...brisbane was simply stunning...see you all in auckland tmw...DONT FORGET BACK TO FATHER TEDS (CORNER OF QUEEN AND WELLESLEY IN CBD AFTER THE SHOW!!!!)....

    Like i said a few days ago, they've never let us down yet, and i sincerely doubt they ever will. From what i can gather, all Aus/NZ fans who made a request - have got their wish... how much better can this get?! =)

    fuck you chugg. you know the band came to nz too. but did you show ANYTHING from this part of the tour? no.

    Friday night was seriously the greatest night of my life! I'm amazed that I didn't loose my voice! When I heard the first few chords of Black I thought of you doompony - so awesome when eddie grabbed your banner!! Hope you all had a great night too and that Chch was just as good. Bit gutted that I couldn't make it to Father Ted's I bet it went off! I think I'll be on this high for a while (at leat I hope!) ;)

    hey nossie - i know this post of yours was a long ways back, but i just got back and thought i'd catch up on some aus/nz thread reading from where i left off. was really great to meet you too - sorry it was a bit brief! am still on a high after our adelaide show - even though it looks like they've pulled out some incredible nights since then, i'm surprisingly not jealous because they gave us everything we could've wanted and more that night. here's to the next tour (whilst still reflecting on this most glorious tour just passed)! :clap:

    you didn't miss much. they were largely shit, but i thought.. AT LEAST.. we might get to see a snippet of the nz shows. but nothing. nada. zilch. zip. etc.

    plus i wanna see a pic of the banner so bad. i know the official photog types milling about at the front were taking photos of it because i saw them... but no sign of it in the official pj pics.

    I think you can kind of make yourself forget how good the live experience is. You hadn't seen them since 98, right? I hadn't seen them for 8.5 years when I went to Oz in 06 and I coped, same with the 3 years since, but at the moment the idea of waiting at least another 3 more years is almost too much to bear (melodramatic, much?). I think I'm still on a bit of a high from the weekend, but I can feel the darkness approaching... ;)
