    i wouldn't not pay over $24 in aus for a brand new cd, most places will have cds for $20 and under, unless you are stupid enough to shop at HMV or Sanity. then it's normally $29

    different currency though.. can't REALLY compare it. that said, just checked the real groovy website and they have it for $28

    Very excited about the release today, although I wont be able to buy it until after work, so whoever goes and buys it first, let us know what its like, and how the inside artwork looks!

    I just went to 3 different music shops to buy Backspacer and none of them have it in stock. :(

    I still dont know what to do, wait for 10c 'pre' order or just get it elsewhere. Ive only been a member for a short time.....is it always this confusing when an album or tour is announced?

    I just dont get how stores are supposedly releasing Backspacer today yet 10c members have to wait....couldnt they all be shipped at the same time?

    I went to Wow Sight and Sound, Big W and Sanity, Sanity are getting there deliveries today at 1pm so I will go back then. Hopefully they will have it then.

    Haha I told a few friends that MM were playing the album in full at 3pm. The pricks come on at 3 and say 'we are playing it in full at 7 tonight'

    Funny enough at the they play the worst two songs off the album - Fixer and Speed of Sound :lol:

    got my copy from JB $19.99 very freaking cool. D/L shows now. There was a dude working there when I grabbed it he said "you pumped" I proceeded to tell him about last weekend and the shows I was going too :D

    I wonder what the LP artwork will be like? The Cd reminds me a bit of the Led Zep 3 LP with the window and the internal wheel you can turn to change the picture. Something similar to the CD would be cool. Can't wait for the vinyl! The CD is great. Haven't looked forward to album art for ages. This is just so awesome! So stoked I'm gonna puke.

    Hmmmm? So do you go into computer and open the backspacer/disk drive icon? and the semi interactive album art menu comes up?

    I had no probs with interactive thing not alot there and runs a bit slow it'll be interesting to see the extra artwork but other then that it's just links. Disk works like the key, and becareful it is showing as a RW cd on my compuda wich means you could copy over it :shock:

    anyone notice vinyl in any stores?

    what JB did you get yours from Filthy? Mt Gravatt? might ring indro tomorrow see if they have it in vinyl, save me ordering it online and waiting.
