I really want too, the melbourne show was amazing (for lack of a better description, damm my feeble brain). Would have to go to the casiono and win the cash.

DP black was amazing so hope you get to hear it

  • Damn it I'm so sore from last night but SO worth it. Anyone else in the fixer area have issues with people trying to push pass -_- I was nearly trampled on when a group of five tore through the fixer area and took my friends and myself for a ride toward the stage.

It was great to be closer... But I felt really guilty getting closer to the stage in that way... There was just no other way to go except forward with them or be bowled over :x

What happens with that ticket pick up dude? It went to waste in the end =/

Apart from that and the weather that show was by far the best I have ever been to. The energy down the frount was amazing. The set list was perfect. Was just such an awsome night all round.

My feet are so sore now though, I might need to take it easy in Sydney, 2 of my 3 shows right on the rail will have to do. So tempted to do another all day wait though, just talking with the other fans in the line makes it worth it.

Am getting v concerned about little ol' delicate me in the Fixer Field- anyone big and burly going to be at Brisbane who wants to shove all the 'roid ragers and 17 years away for me? Otherwise, come join me dancing at the back!

I know you you feel. I think I'll be dancing at the back. Looks like there is no room to move up near the barriers anyway. They'll have screens up so it's still gonna rock.

  • What a fantstic gig to say the least, so sore today thanks to the drunk fools that managed to squish themselves behind me when they were playing Jeremy, had to deal w them and then as i turned around Eddie was right there in front of me!!! Saw so much at the side of the stage as i was just a bit over from stone, 2nd row in, Eddie holding his kiddies, his smile was priceless, (just before he came out to sing Under Pressure) got some nice pics AND to hear Ed and Ben sing Indifference...............bliss :D
Dream the dreams of others then,... You will be no ones rival,...

There is a record fair over at parramatta town hall in the morning.. was considering doing a few quick laps to pick up some vinyl, then head on in....

Sounds like fun. I live too far away to do something like that. Do you think the crowd will be as bad as Melbourne (well I heard it was bad)?

Cant imagine it being that bad... Just be prepared to share body fluids.. Its going to be mighty sweaty.

It depends on the temperature when Pearl Jam hit the stage as to how energetic the crowd will be I would imagine...

There is that big barrier to stop sideways crowd movement too.

    41 degrees.

    does.

    not.

    compute.

at the mo in wellington it is 11 degrees. granted it is 12.45am and it's raining and particularly miserable out there... but JESUS.

    (it's 17 degrees in auckland..)

i reckon we'll be looking at a low 20s temperature for friday during the day, dropping to late teens in the evening. but what would i know? it's summer in a week and it's 11 degrees where i live!

Hmmmmmmmm...Not much been said around here lately, damn them life wasters.

So, just to liven things up :lol:
    My Schedule....from now.....

I'm going to bed and then when my 2 alarms go off!!....................

2.45am = I get up, have coffee, Shit, shower, shave and shampoo.
3.45am = Leave the house and drive an hour to airport.
4.45am = Park the car. Check in. Have Beer for Breakfast. I hate flying and will not do it fully sober.

1.45pm = meet that cool dude and getting my 10C ticket :lol:
    ...................................
    .....................................
    ....................................................
    ....................................................................................................
    ..........................................................................................................By now PJ starting.
    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> :lol::lol::lol:

4.45am = Get back to airport.
5.45am = Wish I had a passport for New Zealand.

8.am = Plane lands and I find my car. Pay too much money for having it there overnight.
Head down the Hwy then get pulled over by the cops because only one break light works.
Then the cops discover my car hasn't been registrated since april 07.
But I don't care because nothing can wipe the smile from my face.

    10.am = Arive home.

That all started with me giving my partner a fantastic hj 10 mins ago. Pearl Jam, you gotta love it.
Now THAT I believe, is Rock n Roll :lol:

I think there'll be a few of us....I'm travelling up from Northern NSW so can't imagine I'll be able to get in super early  Looking forward to a reprieve from mother nature though - has been upwards of 41 degrees here for the last week - 30 degrees sounds ab fab!!

Not a regular poster, but looking forward to meeting you all....I am SUPER excited :!: :!:

    See you there

They are indeed. Apart from my off the cuff, smart-arse comment I have a special deodorant combination that everyone always comments on. Keeps me as fresh as daisy.
