I don't know why, but to this day, for some reason, the end of Wilco's "Poor Places" really creeps me out. I was listening to it earlier today as I was mowing the lawn and I just got the heebie-jeebies. There's just something about that mechanical-sounding voice repeating those words that gets to me.
The whole story behind the numbers stations is actually pretty fascinating to me, too. Maybe one of these days I'll get around to checking out the Conet Project and get over it, but I just can't imagine listening to four hours of that.
